Cooking without a recipe 3
Here I'm gonna make the typical Spaghetti Bolognese.
Ingredients:
1 pack of Spaghetti
1 pack of minced meat
7 cloves of garlic - (diced)
1 onion - (diced)
3 bailey leaves
3 tomatoes - (diced)
1 Zucchini* - (half moons)
1 carrot* - (half moons)
1 broccoli* - (bite sizes)
1 cauliflower* - (bite sizes)
Canned mushrooms - (half moons)
Bolognese mixed herbs
Pasta sauce (can get in any supermarket in a bottle)
Anchovy cube stock
Salt
Sugar
Chili paste
Olive oil
*can be different vegetables to your preference
Instructions:
1- Heat up 2 tall pots. 1 for spaghetti and 1 for the sauce.
2- 1st pot fill in with water and let it boiled in high heat.
3- Once it's boiled, add the whole pack of spaghetti in.
4- Add some salt. Keep stirring so that it doesn't stick on the pot.
5- 2nd pot in medium heat, add some generous amount of olive oil.
6- add the diced garlics, then the diced onions.
7- Stir until can smell the garlic.
8- add 3 spoons of chili paste (add more if you want it spicier)
9- crunch up the 3 bailey leaves and add them in.
10- add some bolognese mixed herbs.
11- Stir them up for a while and make sure it doesn't stick at the bottom of the pot.
12- add all the minced meat and mix them well.
13- let the meat get cooked for a while.
14- add the diced tomatoes.
15- Add the pasta sauce. Mix them well.
16- added half filled water in the bottle to measure, then add them into the pot.
17- add the anchovy cube stock.
18- add 3/4 spoon of salt
19- add the mushrooms and carrrot (any hard vegetables added first so that it get cooked evenly)
20- stir and let it simmer for a minute.
21- add the rest of the vegetables. Bite sizes of Zucchini, Cauliflower and Broccoli.
22- Stir everything, and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
23- taste it, if it's too sour, add some sugar to balance it. Sourness is depends on the tomatoes and the pasta sauce you've picked.
24- Let it cooked for around 10 minutes.
25- back to the 1st pot, after the Spaghetti is thoroughly cooked.
26- tossed the water and in a bowl.
27- add half a block of butter in the bowl and mix them together.
28- serve the spaghetti and the bolognese sauce in individual plates.
29- sprinkle some mozzarella cheese on top.
30- IT'S DONE! ENJOY : D
